Job summary

Chelmsford City Council is seeking passionate individuals to deliver high energy Group Exercise classes across four leisure centres in Chelmsford and South Woodham Ferrers. The role is casual, covering opening hours from early morning to late evening, including weekends and holidays, requiring strong customer service and an upbeat presence.

Successful candidates should hold an Exercise to Music qualification and/or Gym Instructor Level 2, with additional qualifications in Les Mills, Yoga,

Qualifications

• Applicants should hold a current related class qualification (e.g., Les Mills, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Box Fit, Group Cycle, Aqua).

We are looking for passionate and driven individuals to deliver high quality and high energy Group Exercise classes across our four leisure centres based in Chelmsford and South Woodham Ferrers. The successful candidate will join our vibrant team in delivering the high level of customer service our users expect, inspiring participants, supporting growing class attendance and playing a key part in retaining customers.

The applicant must have excellent interpersonal and customer care skills, be confident, outgoing and ideally hold a current Exercise to Music qualification and/or Gym Instructor Level 2. Applicants must hold a current related class qualification for example Les Mills Programmes, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Box Fit, Group Cycle, Aqua etc.

This position is offered on a casual basis to cover the opening hours of the centre, from 5.30am to 10pm, including weekends and bank holidays.
