Job summary

Freedom Leisure in the United Kingdom is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor for casual hours. You will lead engaging group sessions, ensure safety, and deliver excellent customer experiences across our leisure centres.

You'll work with the fitness team to run a varied programme, bring energy to classes and uphold high professional standards while supporting the mission of improving lives through leisure.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognised group exercise qualification; Les Mills training can be provided.
• Experience leading/coaching group exercise classes.
• Experience in leisure environments with customer service.
• Team player with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead group exercise classes in a safe, engaging and inclusive manner.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and support class participants.
• Collaborate with fitness team to schedule and manage the programme.
• Maintain professionalism and contribute to a positive centre atmosphere.

We are looking for a Group Exercise Instructor to join our friendly and professional team. You will be customer focused and ensure that all attending are getting the best from our classes, in a fun, enjoyable and safe environment. We are looking for a real people person, who is a team player, as you will work alongside members of the fitness team to ensure a successful class programme.

Hours

Casual hours, as and when required.

Requirements

• Nationally recognised group exercise qualification however Les Mills™ training can be provided*
• Previous experience of leading/coaching and supervising group exercise classes
• Experience working in a leisure related environment involving customer service
• To be able to demonstrate previous experience of working within a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Be able to maintain the highest level of professionalism and integrity
