Wolverhampton Racecourse and Holiday Inn is recruiting a Casual Food & Beverage Team Member to join our busy hospitality team. You will help deliver friendly, efficient service across the hotel bar and dining areas during racedays, concerts and functions.

This role offers flexible hours with training and opportunities to gain experience in a fast-paced environment. You will handle orders at tills, serve beverages, maintain cleanliness, and support stock rotation while complying with licensing,

Responsibilities

• Serve customers in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.

• Serve beverages including wines and spirits according to licensing laws.

We are recruiting for a Casual Food and Beverage (F&B) Team member to join our team at Wolverhampton Racecourse and Holiday Inn!

Hourly Rate: National Minimum Wage.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused individual to join our team as a casual Food & Beverage Team Member.

This exciting and varied role offering the chance to work in a lively, fast-paced hospitality environment, ensuring our guests enjoy the very best experience.

About The Role

You’ll play a key part in delivering excellent service across our hotel bar.

Key Responsibilities May Include

• Serve customers in a friendly, professional and efficient manner at all times.
• Checking guests into the breakfast service.
• Advise guests on available products and promotions, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Set up, clean and maintain bars, tables and service areas with appropriate stock, glassware, and condiments.
• Take and process food and drink orders accurately using the tills and POS systems.
• Serve beverages, including wines and spirits, in accordance with licensing laws.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all work and public areas, following Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines.
• Support with stock rotation, waste recording, and basic cleaning duties before, during and after service.
• Handle cash and card payments securely and accurately.

What is casual work?

Casual work is a great solution as it enables you to work flexibly around other commitments in your life. Once you have registered your interest, we will contact you in advance to offer you department based shifts at racedays or hospitality functions. There are usually a range of shifts available and opportunities for work are based on busy seasons and the annual racing calendar. Positions will be allocated on the day as part of the briefing.
