Job summary

A casual catering team member is sought by Arena Racing Company at Uttoxeter Racecourse. The role involves serving guests, upholding high service standards, and contributing to a welcoming venue atmosphere.

You will assist with food and beverage service, maintain cleanliness, restock areas, and work as part of a friendly team across race-days and events. ARC offers meals on race days and access to events across the group, with flexible hours to suit a casual workforce.

• Excellent verbal communication and customer care skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers efficiently in a courteous manner.

• Maintain stock of glassware, ice, condiments and sundries.
• Provide correct food and beverage service and clean as required by management.
• Keep work and public areas clean and tidy at all times.

Job description

We currently have an excellent opportunity to join our team at Uttoxeter Racecourse. Uttoxeter Racecourse is one of the busiest racecourses within the Midlands, hosting many exciting race-days, the most notable of which being the Midlands Grand National.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve our customers in an efficient, professional and courteous manner at all times
• Ensure guests receive the highest standard of customer service at all times
• To promote a happy and welcoming atmosphere within the venue
• To work both alone or as part of a team being responsible ensuring that all our guests needs are met to the highest possible standard.
• Ensure the work area is adequately stocked with glassware, ice, condiments and other appropriate sundries
• To serve all guests efficiently with the correct food and beverage service knowledge, cleaning down and carrying out all necessary duties as required by your manager
• Keep the area of work and public areas clean and tidy before, during and after opening hours and to undertake cleaning duties as required
• Adhere to Company policies and procedures
• Undertake other reasonable duties in line with business demands

Working as a casual member of our catering team we are offering a casual role which will give you the freedom to pick and choose your hours.
