Job summary

Oasis Academy Brightstowe in Bristol is seeking reliable, organised individuals to join our Exams Team as Casual Examination Invigilators. The role supports students during examinations, ensuring fair, secure conduct in line with regulations.

No prior invigilation experience is required as full training will be provided. Opportunities cover mock exams and the summer season; rolling interviews and ongoing recruitment.

• Preparing examination rooms, including setting out desks, equipment, and materials.
• Admitting candidates and ensuring examination procedures are followed.
• Distributing and collecting examination papers and materials.
• Supervising students during examinations and maintaining a calm and focused environment.
• Ensuring examination regulations and academy procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Reporting any irregularities or concerns to the Exams Officer.
• Assisting with secure handling and organisation of examination materials before and after exams.
• Remaining vigilant and maintaining the integrity of the examination process.

Start Date: October 2026.

Contract Type: Casual

Salary: £15.76 per hour inclusive of 15% holiday pay (£13.70 basic hourly rate).

This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting our students during examination periods, ensuring that examinations are conducted fairly, securely, and in accordance with examination regulations.

No previous invigilation experience is required, as full training will be provided.

This makes the role an excellent opportunity for those new to education as well as individuals with previous invigilation experience.

Our invigilators support both mock examinations throughout the academic year and public examinations during the summer exam season. Due to the volume of examinations taking place during this period, availability from May to June 2027 is essential.
