Job summary

Guildford Borough Council is seeking an Evening Cleaner (Casual) to join the Millmead Offices cleaning team, ensuring offices and public areas are cleaned and fit for use.

You will vacuum carpeted areas, mop floors, manage waste daily, work as part of a small team, and cover sickness or leave as needed. Casual hours are shown and pay is £14.56 per hour.

Qualifications

• Vacuum all carpeted floor areas within the Millmead complex.
• Mop all tiled/vinyl floors to ensure areas are cleaned and fit for use.
• Collect recyclable and wet waste from all office/kitchenette areas on a daily basis and take to waste compound.
• Ensure that all office areas and public areas are cleaned and fit for use by office staff as directed by Evening Supervisor or Facilities Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team.
• Casual Staff will cover sickness and annual leave as and when needed.
• Hours are Monday to Thursday 16.50–18.50 and Fri 16.20–18.20 (2 hours per day), up to 10 hours per week.
• Hourly Pay Rate - £14.56 (Including Holiday Pay).

Guildford Borough Council are looking for a Casual Cleaner who will be able to join our existing team in providing an evening cleaning service for the Millmead Offices.

To vacuum all carpeted floor areas within the Millmead complex and mop all tiled/vinyl floors to ensure that areas are cleaned and fit for use. To collect recyclable and wet waste from all office/kitchenette areas on a daily basis and take to waste compound. To ensure that all office areas and public areas are cleaned and fit for use by office staff as directed by Evening Supervisor or Facilities Supervisor.

You will be required to work as part of a team, hours are-

Monday to Thursday-16.50hrs to 18.50hrs & Fri 16.20hrs -18.20hrs) (2hrs per day) upto 10 hours per week.
