Job summary

Guildford Borough Council is seeking a Casual Cleaner to join our evening cleaning team at Millmead Offices in Guildford. The role includes vacuuming carpeted areas, mopping tiled floors, and ensuring spaces are clean and ready for staff use after hours.

You'll work as part of a small team with shifts Monday to Thursday evenings and Friday evenings, up to 10 hours per week. The position is casual with a 6-month term and an hourly rate of £14.56 including Holiday Pay.

Qualifications

• Vacuum carpeted floor areas and mop tiled/vinyl floors to keep spaces clean and ready for use.
• Collect recyclable and wet waste daily and dispose at waste compound.
• Ensure office and public areas are clean and safe for staff as directed.

Guildford Borough Council are looking for a Casual Cleaner who will be able to join our existing team in providing an evening cleaning service for the Millmead Offices.

To vacuum all carpeted floor areas within the Millmead complex and mop all tiled/vinyl floors to ensure that areas are cleaned and fit for use. To collect recyclable and wet waste from all office/kitchenette areas on a daily basis and take to waste compound. To ensure that all office areas and public areas are cleaned and fit for use by office staff as directed by Evening Supervisor or Facilities Supervisor.

You will be required to work as part of a team, hours are-

Monday to Thursday-16.50hrs to 18.50hrs & Fri 16.20hrs -18.20hrs) (2hrs per day) upto 10 hours per week.

(Casual Staff will cover sickness and annual leave as and when needed)

Hourly Pay Rate - £14.56 (Including Holiday Pay).
