Job summary

COOK in Leeds is seeking a delivery driver to provide reliable service and ensure orders reach customers safely and on time. You will plan routes, communicate delays, and maintain safety at all times, while handling paperwork accurately at shift end.

Eligible candidates hold a Cat B UK manual licence with at least two years of driving experience and are aged 25 or over for insurance purposes. Attractive benefits apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders safely and in line with the driver handbook.
• Plan routes to ensure efficient and timely delivery; communicate delays to the office.
• Maintain your own safety and the safety of others while driving.
• Complete all paperwork and return to the office at the end of shift.

Job description

Offer remarkable service, the customer is always more important than anything else you are doing. Carry out deliveries safely and in line with the responsibilities in our driver handbook. Plan your route to ensure efficient and timely delivery, communicating any delays or issues with our office team so the customer can be informed. Take care to look after your own safety and that of others. Drive in a safe and responsible manner, comply with all relevant traffic regulations, including adhering to speed limits Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed and returned to the office at the end of each shift.
