Job summary

Cook Trading Limited is looking for a Driver in Glasgow to deliver meals to customers’ homes with a focus on exceptional service and safety. The role involves planning efficient routes, communicating any delays to the office, and ensuring all paperwork is completed after shifts.

The position is casual/part-time with an hourly pay rate of £13.45, including paid breaks. A Cat B UK manual driving licence and at least two years’ driving experience are preferred, with age 25+ for insurance.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Delivery driving responsibilities and safety required.
• Ability to plan routes and communicate delays.
• Knowledge of traffic regulations and safe driving required.

Responsibilities

The Role

• • Offer remarkable service, the customer is always more important than anything else you are doing.

  • Carry out deliveries safely and in line with the responsibilities in our driver handbook.

  • Plan your route to ensure efficient and timely delivery, communicating any delays or issues with our office team so the customer can be informed.

  • Take care to look after your own safety and that of others. Drive in a safe and responsible manner, comply with all relevant traffic regulations, including adhering to speed limits

  • Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed and returned to the office at the end of each shift.

Good to Have

Cat B Full Car/Van UK manual driving licence.Minimum of two years driving the class of vehicle. Aged 25 and over for Insurance.
