Job summary

COOK is hiring a Driver in North Leeds to join our Retail Team. Casual hours with a pay rate of £13.45 per hour. You’ll deliver our food to customers’ homes, provide exceptional service, and follow our driver handbook for safety and compliance.

The role involves planning routes, communicating delays to the office, and maintaining paperwork at the end of each shift. Full UK manual licence is preferred; 25+ for insurance is mentioned as a condition.

Qualifications

• Cat B UK manual driving licence (preferred)
• Two years driving experience (preferred)
• Aged 25+ for Insurance (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Offer remarkable service to customers as a delivery driver.
• Carry out deliveries safely following the driver handbook.
• Plan routes for efficient, timely delivery and inform the office of delays.
• Drive in a safe, responsible manner and adhere to traffic regulations.
• Complete paperwork accurately and return to the office after each shift.

The Role

• • Offer remarkable service, the customer is always more important than anything else you are doing.
  • Carry out deliveries safely and in line with the responsibilities in our driver handbook.
  • Plan your route to ensure efficient and timely delivery, communicating any delays or issues with our office team so the customer can be informed.
  • Take care to look after your own safety and that of others. Drive in a safe and responsible manner, comply with all relevant traffic regulations, including adhering to speed limits
  • Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed and returned to the office at the end of each shift.

Good to Have

Cat B Full Car/Van UK manual driving licence.Minimum of two years driving the class of vehicle. Aged 25 and over for Insurance.
