Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking a Class 1 Casual Driver to transport packaging materials to production sites and deliver yoghurt products to the logistics site from Highbridge. The role is casual/zero hours with no fixed hours.

You will perform daily safety checks, secure goods for transit, and communicate updates to the transport office while representing the company professionally at delivery points. Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

About The Role

As a Class 1 Casual Driver, you will:

• Transport packaging materials to production sites and deliver finished yoghurt products to the logistics site.


• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.


• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.


• Maintain regular communication with the transport office to provide updates on delivery progress and respond to any changes or issues in real time.


• Represent the company professionally at every delivery point, ensuring excellent customer service and building strong relationships with store teams.


• Participate in ongoing training and development, including refresher courses and updates on industry regulations, to keep your skills sharp and compliant.

Essential Skills And Qualifications
