Junior Adventures Group is seeking a Casual Breakfast & After School Club Playworker for Westbury Infant School in Westbury, BA13. The role is casual/bank, with shifts covering sickness, holidays, and busy sessions.

Own transport is essential due to the rural location and DBS checks are required. You will deliver engaging activities, supervise children, and support wellbeing while working within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Own transport is essential due to the rural location.
• Enhanced DBS check and safeguarding checks are required.
• Flexible casual/bank shifts to cover sickness, holidays and busy sessions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fun, age-appropriate activities including multi-sports and arts & crafts.
• Supervise children and ensure they feel safe, welcome and included.
• Encourage positive behaviour, participation and independence.
• Set up engaging play spaces and maintain a safe environment.
• Prepare snacks and refreshments and manage sign-in/out procedures.
• Support children's wellbeing and follow safeguarding procedures.
• Work as part of a team and take lead when required.
• Communicate with children, parents and school staff professionally.
