Job summary

Junior Adventures Group is hiring a Childcare Activity Leader at Iver Heath Junior School. This casual, split-shift role runs mornings and afternoons, with a break in between and opportunities to increase hours in holiday clubs and Lunchtime Cover.

You will lead age-appropriate activities and help create a fun, safe environment for children aged 4-11. The position offers flexible hours with a friendly team, and the role includes training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching, coaching, childcare, or youth work is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exciting activities like multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games.
• Set up engaging play spaces and keep areas safe and clean.
• Supervise children with care and inclusivity.
• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out processes.
• Work split shifts: 7:30-9:00am and 3:00-6:00pm.
• Lead activities when needed and be a team player.

At Junior Adventures Group, we're not just childcare, we're champions of fun! From football to face painting, scavenger hunts to snack time, you'll bring smiles, laughter, and energy to our Breakfast & After School Clubs for children aged 4-11.
This role is split shift, meaning you'll work mornings and afternoons, with a break in between (great for studying, hobbies, family, or even a nap!). You'll also have the opportunity to increase your hours during Holiday Club seasons and Lunchtime Cover.

What you'll do day-to-day:

• Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities like multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games, and creative play.
• Set up engaging play spaces and keep things safe, clean, and awesome.
• Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring every child feels welcome, safe, and included.
• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out processes with a friendly face and attention to detail.
• Work split shifts: 7:30-9:00am and 3:00-6:00pm, perfect for work-life balance or those seeking part-time fun!
• Be a team player who can also take the lead when needed.

What we're looking for:
