Job summary

Lulworth Estate, a scenic Dorset coastline destination, is hiring a Tearoom & Visitor Experience Assistant at Lulworth Castle. You will welcome visitors, serve in the Tearoom, assist with tickets and events, and help present the site.

The role suits those who enjoy public-facing work and teamwork in a lively setting. This is a seasonal contract through October 2026, requiring 21–40 hours per week on a rota, including weekends and some evenings.

Qualifications

• Good customer service and communication skills for a public-facing role.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in hospitality or visitor-facing roles is desirable.
• First Aid knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and provide a warm welcome.
• Sell tickets and provide information about castle and events.
• Support tearoom operations, including barista-style drinks and service.
• Assist with event operations, stewarding, parking, and visitor guidance.
• Help with setup/breakdown and maintain high presentation standards.
