Job summary

The Caledonian Edinburgh is seeking a Part Time Night Auditor to oversee the overnight operation, ensuring guests experience seamless, attentive service while maintaining accuracy, security and operational excellence throughout the night.

Responsibilities include delivering refined overnight front desk service, leading night-time guest contact, and maintaining accurate night audit procedures. A shift pattern includes weekends and 20 hours per week.

• Deliver refined overnight guest service at the Front Desk.
• Act as the lead point of contact for guests during night hours.
• Ensure accurate night audit, reporting and financial controls.
• Maintain hotel security and safety standards overnight.
• Support a smooth handover for the morning Front of House Team.
• Manage overnight check-ins, check-outs, billing and reservations.
• Complete night audit procedures and prepare daily reports.
• Respond professionally to guest requests and resolve issues.
• Monitor security, access and safety compliance.
• Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Maintenance & Front of House teams.
