Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join a professional and hardworking Housekeeping Team. You will work in a unique, beautifully restored castle creating memorable 5* experiences for guests.

The role involves cleaning rooms and public areas to a high standard, restocking supplies, and engaging with guests. Training is provided; benefits include service charge shares, holiday entitlement, birthday day off, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Cleaning rooms can be physically demanding but you will receive full training and be surrounded by a supportive team

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all hotel communal areas are cleaned and tidied to a high standard, including vacuuming, polishing and dusting
• Ensuring bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned to a high standard, including refreshing linen and towels, vacuuming and polishing
• Restocking guest room supplies, including linen, amenities and collaterals
• Engaging with guests where required
• Reporting any maintenance issues to Housekeeping manager
