Grosvenor Casino is looking for a cashier to be entrusted with the finances of the club, correctly accounting for all transactions whilst complying with all gambling regulations and protecting the reputation of the company by adhering to its policies. You will go through a detailed training program designed by the head cashier, which will enable you to work independently very quickly.

You will:

1. Acknowledge, welcome, and assist customers at the Cash Desk
2. Live our values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Responsibility, and Solutions
3. Collaborate and work as part of the cash desk and wider casino team
4. Comply with all company procedures as required by the cash desk management
5. Adhere to the Gambling Act, its regulations, and Gambling Commission license conditions and codes of practice
6. Recommend the loyalty program to customers where appropriate
7. Support with cash or asset counts in the club
8. Maintain thorough records and accounts of all operations at the cash desk as per the manual and instructions from the head cashier
9. Report to the head cashier

Qualifications

• Hold a PFL license, or be eligible to apply for one from the Gambling Commission upon starting the role
• Strong numeracy skills, with the ability to manage large sums of cash
• Experience in a cashier or accounts role is preferred but not essential
• Understanding of or willingness to learn legislation related to the cash desk function, sufficient to pass a competency test
• Ability to work shifts at any time of day, including weekends and bank holidays
