Job summary

JDSports is seeking a Treasury Assistant - Cash Control to support daily takings extraction, reconciliation and data manipulation. The role involves liaising with stores to resolve variances, managing petty cash and ensuring tight control of cash processes.

The candidate should have experience with Outlook, Excel and Word, and possess strong communication skills with the ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced cash control environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to achieve high levels of accuracy whilst under pressure.
• Experience in a fast-paced cash control environment.
• Experience handling large volumes of data.
• Flexibility regarding working hours; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Contact branches for daily figures/variances for different fascias.
• Download, manipulation, reconciliation and analysis of daily takings data.
• Investigation of takings discrepancies.
• Variance reporting, analysis and loss control liaison.
• Petty cash control (from Stores and Head Office).
• Applying strong controls to deliver a smooth month end process.
• EFT reporting, reconciling and analysis.
• Internet order reconciliation liaising with the multichannel team.
