Job summary

Victim Support is seeking a dedicated Caseworker for the Domestic Abuse team based in Basingstoke. The role is office-based with travel across Hampshire, delivering structured support plans to victims and coordinating with partners to ensure safety and advocacy throughout the criminal justice process.

You will manage a caseload, conduct risk and needs assessments, and maintain confidential records using a bespoke case management system, while working across a multi‑agency network.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi‑agency setting.
• Experience in managing a caseload and completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy.
• Conduct risk & needs assessments to tailor support.
• Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
• Keep accurate & confidential case records on a bespoke case management system.
• Make calls to offer support to victims of domestic abuse, delivering immediate support.
• Develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by crime who accept ongoing support.
• Liaise with other local providers to share information on the VS service offer.
• Work as part of a team with staff and the volunteer team to provide a seamless service to clients.
