Job summary

Sellick Partnership is recruiting a Case Management Developer for a leading Birmingham law firm in a hybrid role. You will develop, configure, maintain and enhance the firm's case management systems and related apps to support efficient legal workflows.

Working close with legal, operational and IT teams, you will translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions. The role offers a competitive salary, permanent status and a hybrid working pattern in Birmingham.

Qualifications

• Experience in case management system development across iManage, Proclaim, SOS or VisualFiles.
• Experience working in legal technology or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Experience with APIs, integrations and data exchange.
• Familiarity with development/automation technologies such as .NET, C#, JavaScript or PowerShell would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure and maintain case management systems and related applications.
• Design solutions to support legal and business processes.
• Translate requirements into practical technical solutions with stakeholders.
• Develop workflows, templates, integrations, reports and automated processes.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support when required.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and technology.
• Integrate case management platforms with other business systems and applications.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, releases and ongoing maintenance.
• Ensure solutions are robust, secure, scalable and aligned with the firm's technical standards.
• Produce appropriate technical documentation and maintain system records.
• Work collaboratively with internal IT teams and external technology suppliers.
• Keep up to date with developments in case management technology and relevant industry practices.
