Key Responsibilities:As a Carpentry Manufacturing Operative, you will:

  • Work with timber-based materials to craft bespoke products according to design specifications.
  • Perform joining, preparation, and finishing tasks, ensuring top-notch quality and attention to detail.
  • Operate and maintain various machinery and power tools safely and competently.
  • Collaborate with team members to innovate and tackle creative manufacturing challenges.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations in all tasks and operations.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards.

Required Skills & Competencies:To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Proficiency in working with timber, including cutting, shaping, and assembling.
  • Strong skills in joining, sanding, and finishing techniques.
  • Experience with machinery such as table saws, band saws, planers, and CNC routers.
  • Ability to safely operate power tools, including drills, routers, and sanders.
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Creative problem-solving skills in carpentry and custom manufacturing.
  • Understanding of design specifications with the ability to read technical drawings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formal training or certification in carpentry, joinery, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in bespoke manufacturing or creative carpentry is a plus!
