Job summary

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (Level 2) required with Grade C or above.
• NVQ Level 3 Carpentry/Joinery or equivalent.
• L5 teaching qualification or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of teaching and learning in Carpentry.
• Deliver L1–L3 Carpentry standards and programmes with appropriate methods.
• Produce schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment plans for learning.
• Plan and deliver specialist sessions in acting while embedding diversity in Carpentry and College.
• Co-ordinate and maintain records of formative and summative assessments.
• Support the department's success and vision.
