Job summary

West Herts College in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a full-time Carpentry Lecturer to share industry knowledge with the next generation. The role involves teaching and assessing learners across Level 1 and 2 qualifications, as well as adult part-time and apprenticeship programmes, across Hemel Hempstead and Luton campuses.

Candidates with strong carpentry experience and a willingness to train are invited; teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential as training is provided, and

Qualifications

• Experience delivering carpentry theory and practicals.
• Ability to teach across Level 1 and 2 qualifications.
• Experience with apprenticeship programmes.

Responsibilities

• Teach and assess carpentry learners across Level 1 and 2 qualifications.
• Deliver practical and theory-based sessions across Hemel Hempstead and Luton campuses.
• Support students to achieve industry standards and progression.
