Qualifications

• Experience within Carpentry & Joinery or the wider construction industry.
• Teaching, training, or mentoring experience is desirable but not essential.
• A recognised Carpentry & Joinery qualification is required.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
• A passion for supporting and inspiring young people.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements in workshop environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Carpentry & Joinery lessons to Level 1 learners.
• Teach both practical workshop sessions and classroom theory.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support learners to achieve qualifications and career goals.
• Maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
• Promote industry standards, health and safety, and best practice.
