Job summary

Redcar and Cleveland College is seeking a Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery to join our Construction team, reporting to the Construction Curriculum Manager. You will deliver practical and theory lessons, ensure alignment with curriculum requirements and support learners to achieve qualification outcomes.

Experience of onsite teaching is required and teaching/assessing is desirable. We offer a supportive team and opportunities to develop within the ETC group.

• Experience of onsite working is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver practical and theory lessons that align with curriculum requirements.
• Support learners throughout their studies: helping them to overcome barriers to learning, develop new skills, set targets and monitor progress to ensure qualification outcomes.
• Organise and maintain high standards of teaching, IT skills, accuracy and professionalism.
