Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Carpentry Instructor in Aylesbury. The role offers Full Teacher Training, an attractive pension, 38 days holiday and a clear path into teaching. You will deliver practical Carpentry, support learners in the workshop and ensure a safe, well-equipped learning environment.

Carpentry Instructor (Full Teacher Training Provided) Aylesbury

£27,000 + Full Teacher Training + Excellent Pension + 38 Days Holiday + Career Progression into Teaching

Are you a Carpenter or Joiner with strong hands-on industry experience?

Do you want to step away from the tools and into a rewarding role where you can pass on your knowledge to the next generation of carpenters while receiving full teacher training?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, modern Further Education college that is committed to developing industry professionals into outstanding educators. No previous teaching experience is required, with full support and funded teacher training provided.

In this role, you will work alongside experienced lecturers, delivering practical Carpentry sessions, supporting learners in the workshop, maintaining a safe learning environment and ensuring equipment and resources are prepared for practical activities. You will also supervise learners during practical sessions, reinforce key skills and help students develop the confidence and practical ability needed to succeed in industry.

The ideal candidate will have practical Carpentry experience, a Level 2 qualification or above in Carpentry or Joinery and a good understanding of health and safety within a workshop or site environment. You will be enthusiastic about developing others and looking for a long-term career in education.
