Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is assisting a large Further Education college in Aylesbury to recruit a Carpentry Instructor. You will deliver practical Carpentry sessions, supervise workshops, and help students develop hands-on skills while receiving full teacher training.

No teaching experience is required; you must have industry Carpentry or Joinery experience and a Level 2+ in Carpentry or Joinery. The role runs Monday to Friday with an excellent pension, 38 days holiday, and clear

• Industry experience within Carpentry or Joinery.
• Level 2 qualification or above in Carpentry or Joinery.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety.
• No teaching experience required.
• Enthusiastic about developing others and a long-term career in education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical Carpentry instruction and workshop support.
• Assist lecturers in delivering engaging practical lessons.
• Maintain tools, equipment and workshop facilities.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Full teacher training provided.
• Monday to Friday.
