This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, modern Further Education college that is committed to developing industry professionals into outstanding educators. No previous teaching experience is required, with full support and funded teacher training provided.
In this role, you will work alongside experienced lecturers, delivering practical Construction sessions, supporting learners in the workshop, maintaining a safe learning environment and ensuring equipment and resources are prepared for practical activities. You will also supervise learners during practical sessions, reinforce key skills and help students develop the confidence and practical ability needed to succeed in industry.
The ideal candidate will have practical Construction experience, a Level 2 qualification or above in a Construction‑related discipline and a good understanding of health and safety within a workshop or site environment. You will be enthusiastic about developing others and looking for a long‑term career in education.
The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set and will be decided by our client, the employer.
