Venn Group's Estates & Facilities recruitment team is recruiting a Carpenter for a prestigious organisation in Oxford. This permanent role supports the maintenance, repair and improvement of the estate, ensuring buildings and facilities remain safe, functional and maintained to a high standard.

You will carry out carpentry repairs and installations, complete planned and reactive tasks, participate in on-call rota and maintain accurate records while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / Apprenticeship in Carpentry or equivalent.
• Experience as a Carpenter/Joiner or in building maintenance.
• Strong practical carpentry skills and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out carpentry repairs, installations, fabrication, and finishing work.
• Completing planned and reactive maintenance on buildings, fixtures and equipment.
• Undertaking PPM inspections including water hygiene, emergency lighting and fire safety checks.
• Supporting events with maintenance needs and room adaptations.
• Maintaining maintenance records and health & safety compliance.
• Participating in the on-call rota and providing out-of-hours support.
