The University of Oxford's Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) within Estates Services is seeking a Property Maintenance Engineer with carpentry and building fabric expertise to repair, maintain and enhance an estate of over 300 buildings at South Parks Road, Oxford.

You will work both independently and with Estates teams, prioritising tasks, responding to urgent issues, and helping identify opportunities to improve building performance while upholding the highest safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Level 3 qualification in carpentry or equivalent.
• Experience working independently in occupied buildings.
• Knowledge of building safety regulations.
• Experience supervising contractors and using maintenance systems.

Aufgaben

• Carry out repair and maintenance tasks including carpentry and building fabric.
• Plan and prioritise tasks; respond to urgent issues.
• Support apprentices and collaborate with Estates teams.
• Contribute to long-term planning for building maintenance.
