Connexions Thames Valley is hiring a Carpenter Multi-Skilled in North London to support social housing residents. The role involves 40 hours per week, second shift participation, and an on-call rota.

A company van and fuel card are provided. Essential criteria include prior social housing or local authority experience and NVQ2 or an equivalent trade qualification; a full UK driving licence is required for vehicle use.

Job description

Title: Carpenter Multi-Skilled

Location: North London

Salary: 38,803 - 40,845

Working hours/pattern: 40 hours per week between 8am – 6pm. To support our residents, you will be required to participate in second shift and an out of hours on-call service on a rotational basis. Company van and fuel card provided.

Requirements and Experience

• Previously worked in a social housing or local authority environment
• Relevant NVQ2 qualification or equivalent trade experience

Driving

• A full UK manual driving licence (you will provided with your own Metworks van for working hours).
• A minimum of one year of significant driving experience. (MTVH reserves the right to withdraw an offer of employment if company fleet policy is unable to secure adequate insurance.)
