Job summary

Connexions Thames Valley in Bracknell is seeking a Carpenter Multi-Skilled to join our housing maintenance team. The role covers 40 hours per week, 8am–6pm, with a later shift rotation of 9:30am–6pm every few weeks to support residents.

You will need a UK manual driving licence and NVQ2 or equivalent trade experience; a DBS check will be completed after an offer. Salary is £38,803–£40,845 with comprehensive benefits.

Job description

Title: Carpenter Multi-Skilled

Salary: 38,803 - 40,845

Working hours/pattern: 40 hours per week between 8am – 6pm. To support our residents, a later shift of 9:30am – 6pm is worked on a rotational basis, between 1 in 3 and 1 in 5 weeks.

Requirements

Experience

• Previously worked in a social housing or local authority environment
• Relevant NVQ2 qualification or equivalent trade experience

Driving

• A full UK manual driving licence (you will provided with your own Metworks van for working hours).
• A minimum of one year of significant driving experience. (MTVH reserves the right to withdraw an offer of employment if company fleet policy is unable to secure adequate insurance.)
