Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Carpenter Multi to join our client's reactive maintenance team in Islington, London. You will perform carpentry repairs across doors, frames, kitchens, locks, and general woodwork, ensuring high-quality finishes and timely completion. The role is temp to perm with 42.5 hours per week at £22 per hour CIS.

A van and fuel card are provided. Applicants should have an NVQ/City & Guilds in Carpentry and housing repairs experience, plus a valid UK

Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guilds in Carpentry.
• Experience in domestic/social housing property repairs.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Able to carry out secondary trades to a good standard.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out carpentry repairs and maintenance including doors, frames, skirting, kitchens, locks, and general woodwork repairs
• Making good after carpentry works to a high standard
• Attending properties and ensuring all work is completed within agreed timeframes
• Carrying out secondary trades when required
• Providing excellent customer service when working in tenanted properties
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with health & safety regulations
