Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a time-served carpenter with a maintenance background to join our Windsor site. The role focuses on reactive works and planned preventative maintenance, ensuring tasks are completed on time, to budget, and to quality standards.

You will work Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm, support the site supervisor, and help deliver a range of carpentry and general fabric tasks including painting, door hanging, tiling, glazing, and safety documentation.

Qualifications

• Time served Carpenter with maintenance background.
• Experience in Carpentry and general fabric tasks including painting, door hanging, tiling, glazing, masonry repairs, and related trades.
• L8 ACOP certification or demonstrable equivalent safety knowledge.
• Legionella awareness.
• CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPMs are completed within contract SLAs & KPIs.
• Contribute to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability.
• Support site supervisor with implementation of integrated delivery of contracted services, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and quality.

About The Role:

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 7am - 3.30pm

Key Responsibilities

• To ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPMs are completed within the contract defined time SLAs & KPI’s.
• The successful candidate must provide a significant contribution to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and must, therefore, play its part in the overall delivery of service.
• The candidate will support the site supervisor with the implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services ensuring that all works are delivered safely on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Hiring Criteria

• Time served Carpenter with a maintenance background.
• Experienced skills in Carpentry and general fabric to include Painting Decorating, Door Hanging, Carpet/Lino repairs, Glazing Repairs, Masonry Repairs, Locksmiths, Tiling, ceiling grids/tiles.
• L8 ACOP.
• Sound knowledge of understanding and developing safety documentation to ensure OCS/site safety procedures are always followed.
• Legionella Awareness.
• CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification.
