Job summary

O'Neill and Brennan are recruiting a Carpenter to work on repairs and maintenance projects across Birmingham. The role is 1–2 weeks, 40 hours per week, with working hours 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Applicants must have a Gold or Blue CSCS Card and own tools.

Duties include carrying out carpentry tasks under the Site Manager, ensuring compliance with specifications, safely handling company tools, wearing PPE, and keeping work areas tidy at day’s end. A valid driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Previous site-based work experience.
• Knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation.
• Knowledge of working within the Public Sector.
• Experience with machine shop tooling.
• Valid clean driving licence.
• Ability to read and comprehend architectural plans.

Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry tasks according to the specified project standards under the guidance of the Site Manager.

For 1-2 weeks working 40 hours per week.

Working hours are from 8:00am to 05:00pm - Monday to Friday.

There is no parking on site street parking available.

All applicants MUST have a Gold or Blue CSCS Card ONLY and own tools.
