Job summary

O'Neill and Brennan is recruiting a Carpenter to work on repairs and maintenance projects across Birmingham. The role is for 1-2 weeks, 40 hours per week, with site-based duties under the Site Manager's guidance.

You must hold a Gold or Blue CSCS Card and have your own tools. Duties include carrying out carpentry tasks, complying with specifications and health and safety requirements, and leaving work areas clean at day's end.

Qualifications

• Gold or Blue CSCS Card required.
• Must own a full set of tools.
• Valid clean driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• To carry out carpentry tasks according to the specified project standards under the guidance of the Site Manager
• Compliance with specification / Compliance with materials and workmanship
• Responsibly handle all tools owned by the company
• Wear appropriate clothing and PPE relevant to the assigned task
• Ensure all areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the working day

Carpenter - Birmingham

O'Neill and Brennan are currently recruiting for a Carpenter to work on repairs and maintenance projects throughout Birmingham. For 1-2 weeks working 40 hours per week.

Working hours are from 8:00am to 05:00pm - Monday to Friday. There is no parking on site street parking available.

All applicants MUST have a Gold or Blue CSCS Card ONLY and own tools.

Duties

• To carry out carpentry tasks according to the specified project standards under the guidance of the Site Manager
• Compliance with specification / Compliance with materials and workmanship
• Responsibly handle all tools owned by the company
• Wear appropriate clothing and PPE relevant to the assigned task
• Ensure all areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the working day

Success Criteria

• Previous site-based work experience
• Knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation
• Knowledge of working within the Public Sector
• Experience with machine shop tooling
• Valid clean driving licence
• Ability to read and comprehend architectural plans
