A leading company in the construction sector is seeking a multi-trade operative skilled in joinery and plumbing. The role involves repairing and renewing various fixtures and fittings, with a strong emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have completed a recognized apprenticeship and possess relevant qualifications. Your Role:
Repair and renew doors and door casings, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boards, and ducting paneling. Repair and renew kitchen units, worktops, and decorative finishes. Install or replace ironmongery on doors and windows. Repair or renew timber and UPVC window frames. Reglaze timber fencing and gates. Operate as a multi-trade operative capable of completing work in other construction trades including plumbing, patching, plastering, wall and floor tiling.
What We Need from You:
Must have completed a recognized apprenticeship and hold NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification. Experience as a multi-trade joiner, plumber, or plasterer, including installation of wet rooms and disabled adaptations. Competent in all aspects of joinery and/or plumbing trades. Experience in plastering is desirable. Ability to perform multiple trades, with core skills in joinery or plumbing, preferably within a social housing environment. A valid driving license is essential. Skilled workers should have a CSCS card, asbestos awareness, and own tools.
