Location: HMP Feltham

Salary: £31,438.51 per annum plus 5% for working shifts covering weekends

Plus An Additional £2,500 Per Annum In Allowances

We are seeking a dedicated Carpenter to join our team at HMP Feltham - Feltham A, a 15 to 18 year old male prison & Feltham B, an 18 year + old male prison.

Job Role: Carpenter / Locksmith

As a Carpenter inc Locksmith, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Painters, and others, all dedicated to making a positive difference and providing a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Substantiated experience in a similar role
• Competency in using power tools and machinery
• Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office Excel and Word)
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements
• Up-to-date First Aid at Work Qualification
• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry or equivalent, or substantial experience
• Good health & safety knowledge
• Excellent organizational and people skills
