We're looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our Birmingham Voids team, helping to refurbish and prepare empty social housing properties for new tenants.
This is a hands‑on role where you'll carry out a wide range of carpentry repairs, renewals and installations within void properties. From replacing internal doors and kitchen units to completing finishing works and general refurbishment tasks, you'll play a key role in ensuring homes are safe, secure and ready to let.
Working as part of a dedicated voids team, you'll be responsible for delivering high‑quality workmanship, meeting turnaround targets and maintaining excellent standards across Birmingham's housing stock. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently and consistently delivers a right‑first‑time approach.
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
