Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd in Basingstoke is seeking a Carpenter Multi for a long-term contract with a company van and fuel card from day one. The role covers responsive repairs in social housing properties, with doors, locks, skirting, and kitchen repairs.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a permanent salary of £36,000–£38,000 on successful completion of the contract. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Carpenter Multi or similar trades.
• Strong carpentry skills including doors, locks, skirting, architraves and kitchen repairs.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out responsive repairs within occupied and void properties.
• Completing carpentry repairs including doors, locks, skirting, architraves, and kitchen repairs.
• Undertaking basic plumbing repairs where required.
• Completing patch plastering and decorating works.
• Carrying out general maintenance and repair tasks across domestic properties.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
