Job summary

Claire House Children’s Hospice is looking for Catering Support Volunteers to assist with providing meals and a welcoming dining experience for children, families, and staff. As a volunteer, you'll prepare light meals, set up dining areas, and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.

This role is perfect for friendly and reliable individuals who enjoy working as part of a team. Flexible shifts are available, and full training will be provided to ensure you feel confident and supported.

Qualifications

• Willing to complete training including food hygiene.
• Enjoys hands-on activity and working with others.

Responsibilities

• Preparing light meals such as sandwiches and jacket potatoes.
• Assisting with setting tables and serving food and drinks.
• Keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and tidy.
• Supporting basic food handling and following daily order sheets.
• Helping create a welcoming mealtime experience.

Skills
