Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for Clifton Manor Nursing Home in Nottingham. You will support the catering team to ensure smooth mealtimes and a welcoming dining environment for residents.

The role requires a caring and friendly approach with good communication, and experience in a kitchen or food preparation is beneficial. A Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable and DBS checks are standard.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is beneficial.
• A valid Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a hygienic kitchen and dining area.
• Assist in preparation and serving of meals.
• Keep accurate records of food supplies and temperatures.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Follow Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.
• Report faults or issues promptly.
