Job summary

Clifton Manor Residential Home in Clifton, Nottingham, is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join the dedicated team. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the care team to ensure high‑quality care.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and care reviews.
• Ensure safe storage, documentation and administration of medication in line with guidelines.
• Assist residents with daily activities including personal care, mobility, nutrition and medication management.
• Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing and report concerns.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety within the care environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

• Schedule: Rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Rate of pay: Up to £13.30 per hour
• Shift times: 20:00-07:00 - 40 hours per week
• Required: Completed or working towards completion of NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Support the care team, providing guidance and leadership to ensure high-quality care
• Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and involvement, where appropriate, in care reviews.
• Ensure the safe storage, documentation and administration of medication is carried out in accordance with guidelines and training.
• Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, medication management, and nutrition
• Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the care environment
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
