Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior kitchen leader in luxury hotels, resorts, or villas.
• Strong people management and staff development track record.
• Structured, organised and forward-thinking approach to operations.
• Excellent communication; able to hold team accountable.
• Caribbean experience preferred; knowledge of local ingredients.
• Knowledge of sustainable practices and food safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support management of kitchen operations with highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Lead, coach and develop the kitchen team; build a high-performance culture.
• Oversee food preparation, menu execution, and kitchen organisation across service periods.
• Manage ordering, par stock, inventory, and cost control; reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Plan ahead; drive structured, daily kitchen management.
