Job summary

IAG Cargo in London is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to own the delivery of the Operations plan and drive efficiency through performance management and modernising working practices. You will lead in-house teams and help ensure a robust, compliant operation.

Qualifications

• Management level experience.
• Cargo/Logistics/Airline Operations experience.
• Proven track record of managing large industrial workforces.
• Proven experience driving results in an operational environment.
• Continuous Improvement/ Change experience.
• People policy management.

Responsibilities

• Drive efficiency and maintain a robust operation within own department.
• Ensure optimal operational and cost performance, balancing customer needs with business performance.
• Manage people performance, development, engagement and welfare.
• Conduct process reviews, audits and maintain facilities standards.
• Ensure health, safety, security and customs compliance.
• Strategic department planning including financial planning and resource matching.
