Job summary

IAG Cargo in London is seeking a senior operations leader to own a department within the London Operations team. You will drive the Operations plan, improve efficiency and productivity, and lead high-performing teams to deliver robust, compliant operations.

You will manage performance, coaching and training while ensuring Health, Safety, Security and Customs compliance. A focus on strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Management level experience required.
• Cargo/logistics/airline operations experience preferred.
• Proven track record of managing large industrial workforces.
• Experience driving results in an operational environment.
• Experience in Continuous Improvement/Change initiatives.
• People policy management experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the Operations plan for your department within London Operations.
• Drive efficiency, cost performance and productivity through robust measures.
• Lead, develop and engage teams; manage performance, welfare and training compliance.
• Conduct process reviews, audits and housekeeping to maintain standards.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Security and Customs regulations (EU, TSA, DfT).
• Engage with TU representatives and drive business improvements in a solution-focused way.
• Strategic planning and collaboration with Head of Department and Resource Planning.
