Job summary

The local authority is recruiting for their maintenance team at a local leisure centre. We are seeking experienced caretakers to help maintain the facility and support daily operations.

Role involves opening and closing sites, general porter duties, furniture moves, and carrying out safety testing including fire alarms and legionella checks. 37 hours per week with a competitive pay rate and ongoing work.

Qualifications

• Must have a reasonable level of fitness due to furniture moves.
• Experience in caretaking or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Willingness to perform general porter duties.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the leisure centre sites.
• Carry out porter duties and move furniture as required.
• Perform fire alarm tests and legionella tests.
