Job summary

Virtu Property is seeking a diligent front-line assistant to keep communal areas clean and well maintained across developments. You’ll manage waste, liaise with local authorities, conduct safety checks and report maintenance needs to the Property Manager.

Qualifications

• Fluent level of English; able to communicate effectively with customers, team members and other contractors professionally, as appropriate.
• Experience of working in a similar role is essential (lone working experience is advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of communal spaces.
• Manage and monitor waste throughout development, complete statutory bin runs, ensuring bins are available for emptying.
• Liaise with Local Authority of Waste Management Collections as required.
• Health & Safety compliance, including regular system testing; conduct daily site inspections and report maintenance needs to the Property Manager.
• Ensure communal areas (bin stores, car parks, cycle stores) are maintained and well kept.
• Fob & key management.
• Replacement of lightbulbs where necessary.
• Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable customer service to residents.
• Ensure all enquiries and repair issues are dealt with per service levels.
• Ensure building is a safe environment and is managed according to procedures.
• Complete meter readings as required.
