Job summary

Virtu Property is seeking a part-time team member for Monday to Thursday, 8:00am–12:00pm, to support residential property services. The role involves cleaning communal areas, waste management, and ensuring safety and compliance across developments.

You will interact with residents, coordinate with contractors, and perform light maintenance tasks while upholding high standards of service delivery. Training and uniform are provided.

Qualifications

• Fluent level of English with professional communication.
• Experience in a similar role, lone working advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of communal spaces.
• Manage and monitor waste throughout development, complete statutory bin runs.
• Liaise with Local Authority of Waste Management Collections as required.
• Health & Safety compliance, including regular system testing.
• Conduct daily site inspections and report maintenance needs to the Property Manager.
• Ensure communal areas are maintained (bin stores, car parks, cycle stores).
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to residents.
• Handle enquiries and repair issues in line with service levels.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Cleaning of communal spaces
• Manage and monitor waste throughout development, complete statutory bin runs, making sure all bins are available for emptying
• Effectively liaise with the Local Authority of Waste Management Collections as and when required
• Health & Safety compliance - to include regular system testing where required
• Conduct daily site inspections and report maintenance requirements and any other issues to the Property Manager
• Ensure communal areas, such as bin stores, car parks, cycle stores are maintained and well kept
• Fob & key management
• Replacement of lightbulbs where necessary
• Provide friendly, professional and knowledgeable customer service to residents
• Ensure all enquires and repairing issues are dealt with in line with agreed service levels
• Ensure building is a safe environment in which to live and work and that it is managed in accordance with procedures
• Complete meter readings as and when required

What You Need to Succeed

• Fluent level of English; able to communicate effectively with customers, team members and other contractors professionally, as appropriate
• Experience of working in a similar role is essential (lone working experience is advantageous)
