About The Role

Lime Tree Care Home is looking for a Caretaker with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. You’ll need technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and ideally some IT skills. When communicating with residents or co-workers, kindness and consideration are essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Proactively inspecting and maintaining the care home to high standards
• Carrying out audits and keeping records up to date
• Performing repairs such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or decorating
• Recognizing signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and reporting concerns

All colleagues will attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and are expected to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately.
